the client
Hotel La Rocca is a 4-star hotel in Baja Sardinia, on the island of Sardinia.
It replicates the classic Mediterranean style of architecture and comes complete not only with all of the latest technologies
but also with generous, arched verandas, small terraces and pitched roofing.
The overall impression of the hotel complex is similar to that of an ancient Sardinian village. The hotel offers its guests every imaginable comfort, including a private beach, a swimming pool and a restaurant that showcases the best in traditional Sardinian cuisine, with seafood featured prominently.
The client wanted the site to be restyled in terms of both graphics and browsing experience in order to promote its services online more effectively.
the solution
We developed a new site with content in 5 languages and a stylish interface that makes the most of the look of the hotel, which is certainly one of the main attractions for guests. The dissolving images of the hotel and the surrounding environment - created with Flash technology - form a central component of the new site.
Moreover, the site interfaces with Google Maps to allow visitors to pinpoint the location of the hotel using interactive maps.
Magica also dealt with the site's web marketing (keyword advertising) with a view to boosting the hotel's online
profile and acquiring targeted customers.
